Oh no, another tough day at the beach!
First we went up to village of Monreale. Argued on the way whether it's the same root as Canadian Montreal.
This is the cathedral information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monreale_Cathedral#The_Cathedral It was A-MAZING.
Catholic cathedral built by the Byzantians. After Pantheon, my favorite Christian Temple.
My mom explaining something about the cathedral.
Taxi drivers waiting.
Sometimes I haul my camera like that.
Long arm of the Sicilian law.
Trying on the hat. May be the best 5 EUR i ever spent.
Left the village, drove down to the beach. Zoya cooking my numbers, he-he-he.
Yummie.
On the right side of the fence - private beach. Water access is public but very crowded.
Back to the ship.
If we stayed on shore, I'd have to turn into a Sicilian son. And we all know how that ends: http://www.nowpublic.com/sicilian_mother_cuts_61_yr_old_sons_allowance
A complex system of pulleys allowed me to fly like an eagle and take this picture.
